Hibiscus hirtus

80 (120)cm, (syn. Hibiscus phoeniceus Willd.) a perennial hibiscus species which is native of West India. Hibiscus hirtus has light rose to salmon orange (rarely white) flowers and fresh green serrated leaves on densely finely pubescent stems. For any rich, well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year and reduced watering in winter at a minimum of 20°C. III-IX.
